June Boonyanuphong Luu
Cornell University; GETSEA
My name is June Boonyanuphong Luu, and my academic journey bridges Southeast Asia and the United States. I combine a strong foundation in information science from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s premier academic institution, with advanced, community-centered language facilitation and research at Cornell University.
I am a multilingual educator, community strategist, and cross-cultural bridge builder with over a decade of experience spanning education, hospitality, nonprofit leadership, and language access. I thrive at the intersection of academic excellence and public service, building bridges across linguistic, cultural, and institutional divides.
Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Asian Studies at Cornell, I am actively engaged in the Translator–Interpreter Program (TIP) and the Einaudi Center’s CLIP Initiative, where I facilitate Thai Conversation Hours and support inclusive, multilingual learning environments.
