Jade DiDonato is a recent Master's graduate with a degree in Southeast Asian Studies from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Originally from the United States, she holds a bachelor’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and previously worked in New York’s fashion and finance industries before transitioning into academic research. Her current research examines Thai fortune telling as a cultural and ritual practice, with a focus on its adaptation to digital spaces and its continuing relevance in contemporary Bangkok society. Her broader academic interests include digital religion, ritual studies, and folklore in Southeast Asia. She currently lives in Bangkok, Thailand and freelances for non-profits based in the Southeast Asian region.
