Yvon Mae Hilario Tabuena, LPT, MEd, is a faculty member of the High School English Department at St. Stephen’s High School and an Adjunct Lecturer and Partner Mentor at Oceania Polytechnic and Technological University. She also holds key editorial positions in the International Journal of Academic and Practical Research as Associate Editor, Head of the Managing Editorial Board, and Head of the Language Editors. She earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education from Philippine Normal University and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Filipino Language Education there, while also holding a Master of Education in Linguistics Studies from Oceania Polytechnic and Technological University (2025). Her research interests include academic writing, action research, Filipino language studies, practical research, and research methodologies. She has published in local and international journals indexed in major databases, including Google Scholar, Philippine E-Journals, Web of Science, and Scopus.
