Kenneth Andrew Andres Leonardo

Kenneth Andrew Andres Leonardo is Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at Hamilton College. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Claremont Graduate University, The Claremont Colleges, and his B.A. in political science, international relations from Bucknell University. His research and teaching interests include history of political thought, American political development, liberation, resistance, revolution, virtue, and authenticity. Currently, Leonardo is investigating various ways of pursuing virtue and dealing with injustice. Additional research projects concern the future of liberal democracy. His previous work has appeared in Polis and The Conversation. Prior affiliations include the Huntington Library, the Newberry Library, and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Most recently, he was a visiting “Scholar from Overseas” at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan.
