Pariyakorn (Mai) Kasemsawade

Pariyakorn is a junior at Princeton University majoring in Politics, with a minor in Chinese Language and a certificate in History and the Practice of Diplomacy. Her academic interests focus on the political economy of trade and development in East and Southeast Asia. In the summer of 2024, she interned at the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) in Kuala Lumpur, contributing to political financing bill advocacy and supporting a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing event hosted by the Office of Commercial Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy. In 2025, she is interning at Thailand’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York City. Supported by a full scholarship from Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pariyakorn is on a dedicated path to join the Thai diplomatic corps after her graduate studies.
