Ma. Eloisa D. Sevilla-Perez, PhD is a full-time assistant professor under the Department of Literature, Faculty of Arts and Letters, University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She is the Department’s Research and Thesis Coordinator, and served as Assistant Editor of UNITAS Journal and administrative assistant of the UST Office of Scholar-in-Residence (2018-2024). In her 26 years of teaching in the university, it has given her opportunities as organizer, resource speaker, moderator, and presenter in conferences. She finished her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of the Philippines-Diliman with research interests in Postcolonial Studies, Cultural Studies, Trauma Studies, and Southeast Asian Studies.
