This presentation examines Myanmar’s water challenges, from pollution and overuse to climate and governance pressures. The talk underlines the importance of integrated, participatory approaches for sustainable water management in Myanmar.

Saw Yu May is a geographer and visiting professor with the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Michigan. Her projects focus on Myanmar policy and water management.
