Join Education About Asia Editor Dr. Elise Huerta and Spring 2026 issue contributors Dr. Ann Marie Davis and Dr. Bill Tsutsui to celebrate the journal’s relaunch. Panelists will discuss the future of the journal, introduce the contents of the new issue, and share tips on producing practical and accessible pedagogical resources for non-specialists. They will also answer questions from readers and prospective authors.

About the Speakers:

Dr. Elise Huerta is Editor of Education About Asia. She holds a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages & Cultures from Stanford University and a B.A. in Asian Languages & Cultures from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Ann Marie Davis is Associate Professor and Japanese Studies Librarian at the Ohio State University, as well as Curator of Manga at the University Libraries’ Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum.

Dr. Bill Tsutsui is President and Professor of History at Ottawa University, a private comprehensive institution with campuses in Kansas and Arizona. A specialist in the economic, environmental, and cultural history of modern Japan, he is the author or editor of eight books, including Japanese Popular Culture and Globalization, a title in the AAS “Key Issues in Asian Studies” series.
