Please join LoW and The Sigur Center for Asian Studies at George Washington University for a virtual book talk discussing the book The United States, Southeast Asia, and Historical Memory with authors of the book: Elaine Russell, Ngyuet Nguyen, Mark Pavlick, and NYSEAN member Ben Kiernan. This talk will be moderated by LoW board member and author of What We Inherit Jessica Pearce Rotondi.

The United States, Southeast Asia, and Historical Memory sheds crucial new light on the epochal U.S. interventions in Southeast Asia after World War II. It is made up of short, digestible essays by experts like Noam Chomsky and Fred Branfman that explore the devastating effects of the bombings on Southeast Asia.
