Beyond Home Borders is a virtual Fundraising Festival to obtain much-needed funding for the Lontar Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Lontar was established in 1987 for the purpose of promoting international appreciation of Indonesian culture through the translation and publication of Indonesian literary works. Since its founding, Lontar has produced more than 225 titles, including translations of literary works by more than 550 Indonesian authors.

The Lontar Foundation's Beyond Home Borders Fundraising Festival will showcase a series of live streamed events throughout the month of May. While tickets are available and can be purchased to attend the event series, the promo code STUDBHB is available for students for $10 tickets. The promo code can be used on any unrestricted event (i.e. any $30 event) and is available for the first 100 registrants.
