In this paper published by NYSEAN Partner ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, Elyssa Ludher and Paul Teng highlight the current outlook for the agriculture sector in Southeast Asia, shares the progress made by ASEAN to advance the sector, provides suggestions for practical solutions to improve its climate resilience and sustainability, and recommends crucial actions in this area
Elyssa Ludher is Visiting Fellow and Paul Teng is Visiting Senior Fellow at the Climate Change in Southeast Asia Programme at ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, Singapore. Prior to joining ISEAS, Elyssa Ludher contributed to food policy research at the World Bank, Centre for Liveable Cities Singapore, and the Singapore Food Agency. Paul Teng was Managing Director and Dean of NIE International, Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
