Format

The AAS2026 Annual Conference in Vancouver is an in-person meeting. However, the AAS is aware of recent concerns of some U.S.-based scholars regarding the ability to safely travel to and from the Annual Conference being held in Canada, due to their current Visa or residency status. To help address these concerns, the AAS has created a limited virtual participation option for select presenters at the Annual Conference. Please see the Planning Updates page for more information.

Prerequisites

Membership in AAS is not required to submit a proposal, present, or attend the annual conference. However, members receive discounted conference registration rates.
