We're delighted to announce the official book launch of NIAS Press book "Thai Politics in Translation", edited by Ukrist Pathmanand and Michael K. Connors organized by the Institute of Asian Studies, and the Department of Government, Political Science at Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies and NIAS Press. The book launch will take place online in form of a webinar, including a presentation and discussion of the book with the editors.  

'Thai Politics in Translation. Monarchy, Democracy and the Supra-constitution' is the first collection of translations that specifically focus on Thai conservative and royalist ideas. The book provides first ever English translations of important Thai scholarship that may reshape international debates about Thai democracy and conservatism more generally.
